2001 was a big year for us when we decided to open our own Real Estate company, in Kenmore WA.Keoki had spent 5 years at a local company backed by a national brand. His vision was to create an office that didn’t move as slow as the weakest link, with the big boom of technology emerging.
After years of transitioning with technology, the growth of our family, the market fluctuations, the partnerships and the building of the Real Living Northwest community, we had and continue to experience many learning opportunities that help us all become more knowledgeable, and prepared for anything that comes our way.
In 2009, we knew we had reached a point that we needed the support of something bigger. Earlier, due to Stephanie selling real estate franchises, McCarthy Real Estate joined forces with GMAC Real Estate, that was later purchased by Brookfield, who also bought a large regional player, Real Living. Brookfield decided to name their new real estate entity Real Living and offered the option for most of us to join. At that time we decided to further our investigations of the other franchises.
Two things we knew for sure.
We wanted the backing of a National Brand that had a CRM, Marketing Options, opportunities for Brokerage and Agent growth, and systems to make the processes more efficient.
We also wanted to create a community where the Brokers felt like a tribe. A place where everyone brings their own individual strengths, along with their passion for Real Estate. Our idea was creating a cohesiveness where we could all get together, learn from one another while encouraging each other to reach out to passions outside the industry. A “Happy” workspace is a healthy, growing, encouraging, place where a group of talented people get together and share all of their wonderful knowledge.
After years of so many experiences we feel great with our decision in joining forces with Real Living. Our tagline for our organization say’s it all.
