First Things First / Sage Advice

Purchasing a home is likely one of your most significant investments in life.  Not only are you choosing your dwelling place, and the place in which you will bring up your family or make memories with your partner, you are most likely investing a large portion of your assets.  What lies ahead is a multi faceted undertaking – financial (tangible, promising to grow your financial wealth); and emotional (intangible – exciting, inspiring, and promising to grow your life, happiness, and security in the years ahead).  Invest upfront with education!  The more prepared you are at the outset, the less overwhelming and chaotic your experience.  Proactively learning details of the process and timeframes, evaluating your needs and the marketplace with your agent, talking about and formulating a strategy for success, are elements crucial to building a comfort level.

My first bit of sage advice:  Take time upfront to choose an agent you feel compatible with and confident in, then put it on your calendar as a priority to make time to utilize that agent’s experience. By not being willing to invest time upfront, you’re positioning yourself to become the victim of undue stress under deadline.  Let me help you make the journey ahead a pleasant one, by avoiding missteps now, and acclimating you to the road ahead.
