Set amongst the curves of the Delaware River bordering Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Easton is regarded as the center of transportation and industry for the entire Lehigh Valley. Easton is also the county seat for Northampton County.
Located in the city of Easton’s downtown historic district is the famous Center Square that was the site of one of the original readings of the Declaration of Independence on July 8, 1776.
