Real Living Stock Photography - Restrictions | Real Living Real Estate

What about other images on RealLiving.com that I don't see here, including some that I see that already appear on my own site?
Real Living has separate licenses for many images that you will find at the "Brand Level" of the RealLiving.com site, especially in the Advice section.  While those licenses allow Real Living to create pages and other elements FOR your sites, in the same way that we can create Print Brochures for an Office, we do not have the right to make them freely available for you to use.

The reasoning for this is a bit complex, but it comes down to "Real Living can use a licensed image in a page that it creates, but Real Living cannot  give that licensed image to Brokers or Agents for them to use in any way they wish."

Do not use images from other Broker or Agent Sites
Other Brokers and Agents will likely post images that they have either created/taken themselves, or licensed from providers such as ThinkStock.photos, Getty.com, BigStockPhotos.com, or elsewhere.  Only they have the right to use these images - you must not copy and use another agent or broker's photography without their permission, and in the case of licensed photos, without buying your own usage rights.

If you Don't have the Rights, Don't Use the Image
With all the imagery floating around on the internet, especially on Google Images, it may be tempting to use a photo that you do not own.

Please do not, under any circumstances, upload an image or file to the RealLiving.com site which you do not legally own or have rights to use.  Stock photography firms increasingly use
sophisticated software and rights management specialists to find sites that use images without appropriate permissions.  If your site on realliving.com misuses images, and you are discovered, you will likely need to pay both the original usage rights fees (From $50 to $1500, typically)  as well as several hundred or thousands of dollars in fines.
