One story steel building with an office extension on the western edge of the north wall. The balance of the building to the south is the plant area. There is a concrete parking area directly in front of the office to the north. The office area has a breakroom and a locker room. The foundation and footings are 6' square x 2.4' deep, ranging down to 4'4" square. They are set 5' deep into the soil and the pads are 1' thick. The frame is steel, clear span, and it is heavy duty to support the craneways for the bridge cranes, in addition to 3 jib cranes. The 2 bridge cranes have a 5 ton hook and the traveling jib cranes have a 3 ton capacity. The floor is 6' concrete and the end beams of the steel framing are on 5" square pads on 5" compacted soil. The exterior walls are corrugated steel, 26 gauge, and the walls and roof are insulated with fiberglass to R-11. The office has exterior walls 16-17' high, and the plant area exterior walls are 23-26' in height. The 3 overhead doors are electrically operated and are 16' wide x 14' high in the south wall. The office floor is 4" concrete with half commercial carpet and half vinyl tile. The exterior walls of the office are insulated to R-11, and there is a minimal fiber acoustical ceiling with recessed flourescent lighting fixtures. The hollow core metal doors and door frames are painted metal. The plant has hydraulic heating with baseboard radiant heaters. It will have a 6" floor. The east end has a fiberglass curtain to isolate the paint room in this part of the structure. There is a boiler for heat in the plant rated at 1,200,000 BTU. The office has a pad mounted air conditioner and a roof mounted gas forced air furnace. The ducts are in the ceiling of the office. Electrical service is 800 amp, 3 wire, 480 volts. Plumbing is rather typical with PVC drains; gas lines will be steel; water lines, copper, except for the boiler heated radiant water heaters in the plant. The exterior paving is 5" concrete on 5" crushed rock on 5" of compacted soil. The road with asphalt millings is 1 1/2" top asphalt dressing, 8" asphalt millings below, and then 5" compacted soil. The gravel drive is 8" on compacted soil. The roof for the structure has a slope of 1/2" in 12', with a 20 lb. live load and is corrugated metal. The total building is designed to withstand a 90 mph wind. The restroom has vinyl tile on the floor, enameled sheetrock walls with some of the walls being FRP. There is one industrial sink in the men's locker room. There are 7' metal impact panels around the perimeter of the plant and the high intensity flourescent lights in the plant are ceiling mounted.
