The home is surrounded by forest and the architect chose a classic 17th century style wood cedar shingle to protect the home. It needs no treatment and may last for potentially 100's of years (true of homes of our early American Settlers which still exist). Now on to the details: 1000+ lineal feet of winding asphalt drive, a large barn at the entrance (40x28), 2 large 2 car detached garages, 23+ acres, pond, and incredible walnut grove.
