The mineral present in the land is High Grade Calcium Carbonate (Limestone). Per recent appraisal/geological survey, testing indicates mineral reserves in the 30 to 60 million ton range. Furthermore, recent core drilling evidences 97%-100% CaCO3 (calcium carbonate) purity. Based on a conservative valuation, the subject mineral reserves were valued at $55 million. If further testing indicates a purer grade of the mineral reserves (pharmaceutical grade), the subject reserves would be valued in the $700 million range. BLM will only issue a mining permit to the specific mine operator. The BLM has told the seller that the state of CA is interested in a company operating a mining project on the property, and they want to get a Plan of Operation approved and an operation going.
