What appealed to us about the Ashbury plan itself is that it is an open floor plan (after we removed the wall between kitchen and living room) where we felt all the spaces would be used. We liked the higher ceilings and the large kitchen as we like to cook and entertain. The secondary bedroom having an attached bathroom was a consideration for us. Because we built the house we were able to extend the garage by 4 feet and also add to the height by 4 feet making a very spacious area for our large vehicle and accommodating hobbies and storage as well. We feel our home has a comfortable feeling and a good flow for us. We are particularly proud of the Pennsylvania flagstone in our landscape as it came from our own quarry in PA.
