Robin graduated from Carleton College and moved to Santa Monica shortly thereafter, leaving the Midwestern winters behind. Drawn to the allure of family-friendly neighborhoods, good schools and affordability, Robin and her family moved from Santa Monica to the San Fernando Valley in the early 1990’s.
Although not fluent in the language, Robin’s undergraduate major was Spanish Literature, and she would welcome using the language with her clients. Her career began in the nonprofit sector, where she worked in fundraising for a national public television station and later become director of development for Assistance League of Southern California in Los Angeles. She earned her Master of Nonprofit Administration in 1990, and began doing freelance work, helping a variety of agencies in their community outreach while raising her son. Her interest in real estate was fostered at an early age, and Robin’s mom provided an excellent role model as an agent with integrity, commitment and depth of knowledge. Robin feels that she continues to help people in her current work through competent navigation of the real estate marketplace and helping people fulfill lifelong dreams.
