Eclectic and Fun !!
Welcome to Candler Park, Atlanta, where everything you need is right outside your door. Candler Park is named after Asa Candler of Coca-Cola fame. It was she who donated the 55 acres to create the public Candler Park. This park offers a nine-hole golf course, swimming pool, football/soccer field, basketball and tennis courts, and a large playground. The Candler Park neighborhood is located just a few minutes east of downtown. It sits just south of Poncey Highlands, east of Inman Park, west of Lake Claire, and north of Edgewood.
Candler Park is centrally located allowing for easy access to some of Atlanta's best attributes: the historic Fox Theater, the Woodruff Arts Center, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, the High Museum of Art, the Atlanta Ballet, and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. There are also more eclectic spots like the Laughing Skull Lounge Comedy Club, the Horizon Theater, and Variety Playhouse. Simply put, there is entertainment for every taste just outside your door.
