Kara lives with her family in the Verdugo Woodlands Area of Glendale. She is active in the local community and has served two years as PTA Co-President at Verdugo Woodlands Elementary School. Kara has volunteered three years as a Foothill Little League Team Coordinator and is an active alumni member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, and served as ASB Director of Programs and Organizations at Chico State.
