Current Trends and Facts of Roscoe Village Chicago

Even though Roscoe Village has reminiscence of a small, quiet town, there is plenty to do with eclectic, independent-minded boutiques, antique shops and restaurants, which is centered on a shopping strip. Antique Row on Belmont Avenue is a five-block stretch from Damen to Western and is the largest concentration of antique stores in the Midwest. It attracts a young crowd due to its relatively inexpensive real estate and good number of eclectic dining/shopping spots and nightlife destinations. Its roots are working-class and family-oriented, but its future seems to lean more towards spacious lofts and hip restaurants.

A next-door neighbor to West Lakeview, it also provides residents with access to Lakeview's restaurants, entertainment venues and shops. It's also quite close to Wrigley Field.
