Barbara Bennett

Barbara’s professional experience began in the insurance industry where she was a claims examiner for 14 years.  She joined Intel Corporation where she was promoted to customer service due to her outstanding communication skills.  After partnering in the founding of a solar energy company in Rancho Mirage, Barbara then joined Yamaha Golf Cars in Palm Desert and became Operations Manager.

After moving to Los Angeles and obtaining her real estate license in 1988, Barbara successfully earned the “Top Producer” award when she was associated with Century 21 in Chatsworth in 1989.  Due to her “love of land”, she joined Santa Susanna Realty & Development Company, selling high-end homes.  She then joined Jon Douglas Company, seeking to broaden her chosen field.  In 1992, Barbara joined the international company of Prudential-Rodeo Realty, where she participated in listing and selling multi-million dollar properties throughout the world.  Barbara’s office in Woodland Hills subsequently was purchased by Coldwell Banker and in the last quarter of 1998, Barbara joined Re/Max on the Boulevard in Calabasas.  When the Calabasas office closed in 2009, she then joined Dilbeck Estates-Calabasas, an Exclusive Affiliate of Christie’s International Estates-Beverly Hills, California.

Working with music, movie and sports greats, Barbara has represented both buyers and sellers in negotiations involving up to 35 million dollars.  She has also handled negotiations involving REO’S, Short Sales (with 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd trust deeds), and trades involving automobiles, gems and gold.  Going as far North as Canada representing the seller of a goldmine, as far South as Costa Rica representing the seller of a Rain Forest and as far West as Hawaii representing the seller of over 1,000 acres of land.

Barbara has served as an officer and Board of Directors Member for The Energy Place, Inc. and Tri-Screen Entertainment.  She is a member in good standing of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and the Southland Regional Association of Realtors.
